You Can't Keep A Good Band Down

Holy Shit

How the fuck can we believe
In a God or Spirit that's never been seen.
Just made up to exploit and deceive
Every weak human intellect, try to see

It's just another instrument to oppress
The poor and strengthen the upper class.

I can't see how the fuck you can
Buy this shit, try to understand
This is just another fairy-tale
But you swallow everything anyway.

But I have hope for humanity
We're all equipped with a mind to see
Through this bullshit hypocrisy
Made up to fuck up equality.

Little Toulouse

You say that I'm just another boy on this world who's trying to romanticizes the struggle,
But I know when I'm talking about love.
You say I'm just an immature kid who's always, always looking for trouble -- Looking for trouble
Can't avoid it if your trying to be heard.

We got so little to lose and so much to win,
Why dont we realize how fooled we have been?

Why do we sell ourselves for the price they give?
Ooh, they let us down but we forgive.
Now it's all for one and not all for all.
The greed keeps the people, the masses in control.

We got so little to lose and so much to win,
Why dont we realize how fooled we have been?
We got so little to lose and so much to win,
Why dont we realize that greed eats from within. -- From within

Oh, mama, mama life can get so lonely.
Oh, papa life can get so strange.
In times like this we have to stick together -- Forever
Brothers and sisters and workers and comrades and everybody, yeah!

We got so little to lose and so much to win,
Why dont we realize how fooled we have been?
We got so little to lose and so much to win,
Why dont we realize that greed eats from within.

The Exorcist

When I was younger me and my friends saw the Exorcist.
Thomas got so scared he couldn't sleep for days,
he wouldn't listen to me when I told him its not for real,
I told him it's make believe
And that there is no heaven or hell
Even if dio sings about it so well. So well.

Even though no gods exists and I'm an atheist
The Exorcist got me so scared, got me so scared.

Some years went by then came "The heretic" Exorcist 2,
Starring Linda Blair and Max Von Sydow too.
It had none of the mood or the tension,
It was not a worthy continuation,
A category B
And a big disappointment for me. Oh me!

Even though no gods exists and I'm an atheist
The exorcist got me so scared, got me so scared
Since then I've seen a thousand films
None with same tension and not to mention credibility.

In 1990 came Exorcist 3,
Based on the novel legion by William Peter Blatty.
It was not as bad as I thought it would be,
Not as good as the book but it was still worth to see.

Even though no gods exists and I'm an atheist
The exorcist got me so scared, got me so scared
Since then I've seen a thousand films
None with same tension and not to mention credibility.

Me And The Boys

It's time to pack, load the van and go.
Hit the road again, do another show.
We try to sleep or listen to the radio,
Might as well get comfortable we've got a long, long way to go.
If we get there early, we park the car
Then we try to find out where the record stores are.
Then we unload our stuff and hope we get some food,
Which always taste like shit but we try not to be rude.

Me and the boys ain't afraid to raise our voices
But we hardly ever act
It is sad but it's a fact,

Then it's time to play, oh man the crowd is crazy.
At least the two drunk punks, who ever said that punks are lazy?
When the show is over and all of the people has gone,
We talk about the gig and all the mistakes we've done.

Me and the boys ain't afraid to raise our voices
But we hardly ever act it is sad but it's a fact,
There is much for us to do, to tear down and build up new,
But we speak from all our heart and that's a start.

I never thought we'd go this far,
I mean, we even got our own car
And it takes us where ever we want to go.
We get to play in lousy bars
And hang out with the superstars
From the local support act.

Me and the boys ain't afraid to raise our voices
But we hardly ever act it is sad but it's a fact,
There is much for us to do, to tear down and build up new,
But we speak from all our heart and that's a start.

Epidemic Ignorance

Another war, a thousand dead
Passed from the screen into my head.
Upset for a minute but in a while
I change channel and my anger is replaced with a smile.

Suffered destruction of my mind,
The same as the rest of all mankind,
Blockades the head from everything
That makes you feel guilty, sick or sad.

Still I believe there's got to be a way
That makes everybody feel O.K.
But when I listen to what people have to say,
I think it seems like they are all afraid
To react, and take stand...

Against this ignorance, that rules our world.
Infect people's mind, with virus you can't find.
A gigantic reformation of this whole society
Is the only way to see the end of this malady spreading rapidly.

Keep up your spirit, keep your dream,
Keep up your hope and self-esteem.
Try to react on inequity,
Together work to achieve equality.

Spreading rapidly.

Superstar

Look at this fucking world, everybody wants to be on T.V.
Is five minutes in the spotlight supposed to make you feel free?
Anything goes, the price is high if you want to be seen.
Some people do just about anything to get their face on the screen.

This society treats celebrities and so called stars like fucking gods,
Even though the majority of them are fucking frauds.

They hear it on the radio and they gladly sing along.
They watch it on their television screens and they don't think that it's wrong.
That's right!

Look at this fucking world, people do anything to get on T.V.
A nose job and plastic breasts guarantees a place on the screen.
What kind of sick society can accept something like that?
Cos what difference does it really make if you are a size "d" or if you're flat?

They hear it on the radio and they gladly sing a long.
They watch it on their television screens and they don't think that it's wrong.

They hear it on the radio, they watch it on there television screen,
They read it in the papers, they read it in the fashion magazines
And they don't think that it's wrong
That children act like sex symbols
And dresses like their favorite superstars.

Step Out Side

Racist issues are subject of discussion again.
The conditions are the same, the problem still remains.
And just like so many times before,
We come to no conclusion, we achieve nothin' more.

Yes, I am sure that they mean well by the T-shirts they sell,
But this time I've had it with your crap. I feel like a mission of my own...

I just wanna step outside
Strike a blow for these ignorant masses,
I just wanna step outside
Strike a blow for you.

You could blame it on depression, blame it on whatever you choose.
But it's still on the streets that people are really paying their dues.
Yeah, we all want integration, we all want this violence to end.
But I ought to think of something better than where and when the violence began.

Yes, I am sure that they mean well by the T-shirts they sell,
but this time I've had it with your crap. I feel like a mission of my own...

I just wanna step outside
Strike a blow for these ignorant masses,
I just wanna step outside
Strike a blow for you, you you.

Randy I Don't Need You

I've got to tell you about a strange, poor man.
I met him at our concert, now he's a legend in our band.
Claimed we had to sell him a T-shirt for one mark,
I explained we really try to be as cheap as we can
But that didn't get through to that man.

Yeah, it is cool that you believe in me, but you have to understand
We're not Peter K., Emma, Gandhi and Marx reincarnated as a punkrockband.
And even if we found our major enemy
In the core of this capital dynasty,
We're still a part of this goddamn money machine.

Right after the show, strengthened with a bottle of wine,
He said to me: "Diese T-shirt ist ja mein,
You capitalistische schwein" !!
He grabbed an empty bottle of beer
And aimed right at my head,
I got scared and took shelter right behind my own amp
And the glass swished above my head.

Yeah, it is cool that you believe in me, but you have to understand
We're not Peter K., Emma, Gandhi and Marx reincarnated as a punkrockband.
And even if we found our major enemy
In the core of this capital dynasty,
We're still a part of this goddamn money machine.

But it's so fucking hard to be
The perfect human that you demand of me,
But I want everyone to know that we really try to practice what we preach,
But I guess the reason for this fight is just your own bad conscious that bleeds.

Yeah, it is cool that you believe in me, but you have to understand
We're not Peter K., Emma, Gandhi and Marx reincarnated as a punkrockband.
And even if we found our major enemy
In the core of this capital dynasty,
We're still a part of this goddamn money machine.

Oh baby, now I see that from what that man did to me,
I could surely have made the funniest song that the world's ever seen.
But still now when I've found I'm the worst storyteller around,
I will keep up my reading, I will keep my pen bleeding 'til everybody's free.

They Fear Us

Borders and customs prevents people to travel and live wherever they want.
How can anybody say that they own a piece of this world?
The world belongs to everybody, every corner and street, every ocean and beach,
Deserts and mountains too, they all belong to you.

Theories like this is what the upper class fears
White, rich, males knows nothing worse than share.
Their greed, their lack of care is far more than I can bare.

All I want, all I need is some solidarity, some equality and freedom.

It's a question of responsibility,
This world can become what we want it to be,
It's all up to you, it's all up to me,
Things don't change by themselves you see.
Its our responsibility to act,
To make sure that the environment stays intact.
All the pollution and damage they do, they do it to you.

Companies that puts profit before environmental care
Should be boycotted, it's your obligation to stay aware.
Their greed, their lack of care is far more than I can bare.

All I want, all I need is some solidarity, some equality and freedom. -- Freedom...
I dont need anyone
I dont need anyone -- ...under responsibility,
I dont need anyone to decide things for me.

You Are What You Fight For

For some talk is cheap, action is what counts
When it comes to saving animals to cut down the murder amounts.
For others it's hard to see the easiest of things,
As the pain and suffering the meat industry brings.
Some choose to see just what they want to see,
But to put the head in the sand has never worked for me.
I try to examine myself for deficiencies,
Be as strict as I can be then find the remedy.

There are not many good things that I've done
Giving up meat is most certainly one.

You are what you fight for, your actions and your thoughts and words.

There's still parts of me that I don't like,
I watch way to much T.V., I drive a car instead of riding a bike.
I'm not proud over all the things I am,
I'm not proud of being white and I'm not proud of being man.
These last years I have changed my personality
From passive to revolutionary.

You are what you fight for, your actions and your thoughts and words.
You are what you fight for, your actions and your thoughts and words.
You are what you fight for, your actions and your thoughts and words.
You are what you fight for, your actions and your thoughts and words.

Powergame

When you look back on our history,
All you see are war and misery,
Caused by humanity,
Controlled in the hierarchy.

But I don't agree, we're not born to be
Evil, corrupt, inclined for tyranny.
Instead I, would like to claim
That we're changed by...

The powergame that they play.
Oppressing masses, preserving classes.
Institutions to confine, revolutionist in line
Yeah, make the people blind.

When you look back on our history,
All you see are cults and mystery.
Constitutionalized hypocrisy
To silence demands for...

Democracy that they fear.
So they're oppressing masses, preserving classes.
Institutions to confine, revolutionist in line.
Take a look around, take a good look around.

Can't you hear what I'm trying to say?
It's time to choose a different way.
No longer slave or passively be
The perfect part in their machinery.
No, no longer, longer, baby.

Now And Forever

I never claimed myself to be
The world's most perfect human being.
Yeah, I try to do my best
But I fail like all the rest.

I'm not strong, smart or well dressed
But I'm tougher than the rest
Cos I believe that we can make things better:

Now, now -- Now and forever and for everyone out there.
Everyone out there.

In school I fucked up every test.
I was never ever best
On anything and I had poor grades and a terrible hairdo,
If you where fifteen in the eighties so did you.

I'm not good looking or well dressed
But I'm more naive than the rest
Cos I believe that we can make things better:

Now, now -- Now and forever and for everyone out there.
Baby.

I hear you talk, talk, talk, talk the talk
But can you walk, walk, walk the walk?
I hear you talk, talk, talk, talk the talk
But can you walk, walk, walk the walk?
Talk, talk, talk, talk the talk
But can you walk, walk, walk the walk?
I hear you talk, talk, talk, talk the talk
But can you walk, walk, walk the walk?
Can you walk?

Now, now -- Now and forever and for everyone out there.
Make thing better now,
Now -- Now and forever and for everyone out there.

Working Class Radio

After eight long hours of working in the factory
His legs was tired as he walked out through the door.
His hands was dirty and his head was aching,
He said: "It's like a sickness but I think I know a cure"

It's Friday night, the time is right,
My mind is set I'm going out tonight.
I'm gonna dance 'till I can't dance no more,
Swinging my feet out on the floor.

This is all music for the working class radio,
This will all make you dance, dance, dance tonight.
Make you dance tonight.

After spending fiftteen hours in our tour buss,
After we've been sleeping on some madras on the floor.
After we've been playing in front of a crowd of twenty morons,
It's nice to know that life can offer something more.

It's Friday night, the time is right,
My mind is set im going out tonight.
I'm gonna dance 'till I can't dance no more,
Swinging my feet out on the floor.

This is all music for the working class radio,
This will all make you dance, dance, dance tonight.

Dance tonight.

It's Friday night, the time is right,
My mind is set I'm going out tonight.
I'm gonna dance 'till I can't dance no more,
Swinging my feet out on the floor.

This is all music for the working class radio,
This will all make you dance, dance, dance tonight.
This is all music for the working class radio,
This will all make you dance tonight.
Dance, dance.

Out Of Nothing Comes Nothing

This one is for the workers unite,
This one is for the people that believe in a fight,
This one is for everlasting dream to be free,
This one, this one is for liberty.

This is a loading gun mission,
With words as our ammunition,
A mental revolution unviolently.
This one, this one is for anarchy.

There's no strength where there's no struggle,
Without struggle there is no strength.

This is the result of frustration,
Total boredom but we still find motivation,
It's not much but it's a start.
This one, this one comes from the heart.

This is the call of the useless generation.
We await the fall of the great nations.
The flame of freedom burns in our eyes.
We had enough of fucking lies.

There's no strength where's there's no struggle,
Without struggle there is no strength.
There is a light in the end of the tunnel.
There is still time for the wind to change.

Out of nothing comes nothing...
